Kevin Martin is a dedicated and accomplished IT professional with a proven track record in systems administration, network engineering, and IT leadership. Currently serving as Director of IT for the South Carolina Baptist Convention, Kevin leads the department in developing and implementing technology strategies, managing critical infrastructure, and ensuring robust data security and compliance. His role includes overseeing IT budgets, providing staff training, and collaborating with ministry departments to address technology needs, all while speaking at conferences to advance IT governance and cybersecurity across more than 2,200 churches.

Kevin’s expertise spans a broad array of technologies, including Windows OS (7–11), Microsoft Servers (NT 4.0 – Server 2019), Citrix environments, MS Visual Studio, VMware vSphere, Active Directory, Office 365, Azure, Exchange, and Linux. He possesses hands-on experience with tools such as Service Now, Kaseya, Datto, Meraki, JAMS, and Nginx, and holds professional certifications including A+, Datto I & II, WebRoot, Sophos RTM, and Cisco Meraki.

At Liberty University, Kevin excelled as a Systems Administrator, driving performance tuning, server maintenance, and project management for mission-critical university applications. His collaborative approach ensured streamlined operations and the reliability of digital systems supporting the university’s mission. Prior to this, he played vital roles in network optimization and client support at Rudick Innovation & Technology and Integra MSP, where his leadership enhanced service desk operations, desktop environments, and client relationships.

Kevin earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Strategic Communications from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. Media Broadcast Director & Producer

Kevin Martin is a dedicated media professional with over a decade of experience in broadcast production, video direction, and media ministry. As a Media Broadcast Director at First Baptist Dallas, Kevin played an instrumental role in producing and directing projects for worship services, television broadcasts, and other church venues. He worked closely with ministry partners and worship leaders to deliver engaging content, including live footage for "Pathway to Victory with Dr. Robert Jeffress" and the contemporary "Day One" service led by Kaleb Moore. Kevin was also key in developing and producing the First Baptist iCampus Online Church application, enhancing the church’s digital presence.

In addition to his production expertise, Kevin excelled in leadership and training, coordinating and mentoring media volunteers and managing scheduling through Planning Center. His technical skill set encompasses a broad range of media solutions — from camera operation and scene lighting to green screen production and chroma-keying. Kevin is proficient in both Mac OS X and Windows environments and has hands-on experience with industry-standard software including Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, Adobe Photoshop, and more. His familiarity with high-definition DSLR and professional video cameras, as well as advanced switching equipment like the Grass Valley K-Frame-s Switcher, reflects his comprehensive understanding of broadcast technology.

With a background in volunteer leadership, video post-production, and IT systems administration, Kevin brings genuine dedication, loyalty, and a creative spirit to every organization he serves. His work is driven by a desire to honor God, build up the Church, and advance its mission through excellence in media.
